Anyone who likes a spot of karaoke outside the privacy of their own little room has heard of the exclusive karaoke venues Karaoke Box and Lucky Voice.
As great as they are, I wanted to see what alternative karaoke venues are out there to help you further enjoy bawling your head off to Whitney, Mariah and the like! Some venues also have a selection of Japanese language songs. Here’s what I found:
Adanami Soho is an interesting venue, with karaoke rooms tucked secretively away inside a second hand Japanese bookstore, within an ex-launderette!
China City Restaurant – Based in China Town this restaurant offers 4 different private rooms for karaoke for 8-40 people.
There are many other restaurants and venues offering private karaoke in London including; Bloomsbury Lanes (5 private rooms) and All Star Lanes (Brick Lane venue) where you can combine karaoke with bowling, Queens where bowling and ice skating are also available, and a multitude of restaurants like, Ribon, and Imperial China.
In short, just because you’re not in Japan anymore (sob), it doesn’t mean you have to go without your monthly, weekly, or even daily bout of karaoke!
